Laboratory of Organic Chemistry

My name is Michail-Marios Karamolegkos and I graduated from the Department of Chemistry at the University of Athens.

My bachelor’s thesis, titled “Anti-inflammatory properties of Salvia officinalis extracts”, was carried out under the supervision of Professor Thomas Mavromoustakos.

Since October 2025, I am enrolled in the postgraduate programme “Organic Synthesis and its Applications in the Chemical Industry”, with a scholarship granted by the Union of Greek Shipowners.

My research interests include Organic Synthesis and various topics, such as catalysis and Green Chemistry.
