My name is Panagiotis-Konstantinos Papadimitriou and I am a Chemist, holding a degree from the Department of Chemistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). In parallel with my undergraduate studies, I obtained a Certificate in Oenological Education, further expanding my scientific background in the chemistry and technology of wine and other alcoholic beverages.
I also hold a Master’s degree in "Industrial Chemistry – Wine and Alcoholic Beverages" from the Department of Chemistry at NKUA, for which I was awarded a scholarship in recognition of my academic performance.
Since 2023, I have been conducting my PhD research at the Laboratory of Organic Chemistry at NKUA.
My research focuses on the comparative metabolomic study of bioactive compounds in wines, using techniques of organic spectroscopy—primarily Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy—as well as molecular modeling tools, with the aim of exploring their potential applications in pharmaceutical chemistry.
