Laboratory of Organic Chemistry

My name is Orfeas Milionis, and I am a graduate of the Department of Chemistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. My undergraduate thesis focused on the topic "Synthesis and Molecular Characterization of Diblock Copolymer Poly(ethylene oxide)-b-Poly(γ-benzyl ester of glutamic acid)" under the supervision of Prof. Ermolaos Iatrou. My scientific interests are centered on computational organic chemistry and analytical techniques.

Biochemical Skills: Enzyme assays, E.L.I.S.A.

Analytical Techniques: High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), infrared spectroscopy (IR), ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), and electrochemical methods.

Computational Skills: MS Office, Python, ChemDraw, Gaussian.
