Laboratory of Organic Chemistry

My name is Nefeli Stavropoulou, and I am a graduate of the Department of Chemistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
My undergraduate thesis was titled“Phenolic O-Glycosylation for the Semi-Synthesis of the Natural Product Syringoleoside C” and was supervised by Dr. Athanasios Gkimisis.

My scientific interests focus on organic synthesis, pharmaceutical chemistry, and natural products chemistry.

Laboratory and Analytical Skills:

• Execution of organic reactions and purification techniques
• Operation of basic analytical instruments (spectrophotometer, IR, NMR)
• Preparation of chemical solutions
