Laboratory of Organic Chemistry

My name is Aikaterini Koutouzou and I am an undergraduate student in the Department of Chemistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

My undergraduate thesis is titled “Study of the reaction of phenols with 1,2,3-dithiazolium chloride: Synthesis of new dithiazolylidenes” and is supervised by Assistant Professor Maria Koyioni.

My scientific interests focus on organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry.
