Laboratory of Organic Chemistry

My name is Siatouni Foteini and I am a fourth-year undergraduate student in the Department of Chemistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. My thesis is titled: “Development of green and innovative organocatalytic or photochemical reactions and their application in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals or compounds of pharmacological interest,” under the supervision of Professor Christoforos Kokotos.

My scientific interests focus on the fields of Organic Synthesis and Medicinal Chemistry. At the same time, I am participating in a research project concerning the design of microneedle patches titled: “Lutetium phosphate microneedle patches as an on-patient Medical Record,” at Stockholm University.
