Laboratory of Organic Chemistry

My name is Georgios Tziakis and I am a fourth-year student in the Department of Chemistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).

My undergraduate thesis focuses on exploring new synthetic routes for the development of organic compounds with pharmacological interest, under the supervision of Professor Dimitrios Georgiadis.

My scientific interests revolve around biochemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, organic synthesis, and biology. I have participated in educational activities related to the teaching of chemistry through experiments, as well as in a semester mobility program within Erasmus+ (Charles University).
