Laboratory of Organic Chemistry

My name is Lydia Diamantopoulou, and I am an undergraduate student in the Department of Chemistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

My undergraduate thesis, in the field of Organic Chemistry, is titled: “Development of innovative and green organocatalytic and/or photochemical reactions and their applications in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals or bioactive compounds,” under the supervision of Professor Christoforos Kokotos.

Through my thesis, I aim to broaden my knowledge in organic synthesis and research.

My research interests focus on the fields of Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, and Green Chemistry.
